Brand Story

The Pride of Japanese Farmers

From Seed to Craft, We Do It Ourselves.

As Japanese farmers, we believe great flavor starts with the ingredients themselves. That is why we take responsibility for as much of the process as we can. At Kashima Paradise, we grow our own barley and soybeans in our own fields.

We practice shizen saibai, a traditional approach to natural farming that uses no pesticides or chemical fertilizers. We also use heirloom Japanese seed varieties that have been passed down through generations.

We carry that same philosophy into everything we make. Our ingredients are carefully processed without additives, using traditional Japanese fermentation methods and hands-on craftsmanship. From the seed we plant to the soil we cultivate and the products we create, we are involved at every step. That gives us complete confidence in what we put into your hands and, ultimately, what we put on your table.

Our goal is simple. We want to make food and drink that tastes great while being better for the earth and for the people who enjoy it. That is our idea of Paradise.

  • Natural Farming

No pesticides. No chemical fertilizers. We let our crops grow naturally, giving them the time and conditions they need to develop their full flavor while caring for the land we depend on.

  • A Living Tradition

We grow heirloom Japanese varieties that have been cultivated for generations. By working with traditional seeds and the natural character of the land, we bring out flavors that are uniquely our own.
